Stepping Out Theatre announces auditions for a new play collaboratively created through improvisation.
Open auditions for actors of all genders/ages/abilities/etc will be held on November 19th and 20th from 6:30pm-8:30pm,
callbacks Sunday November 22nd. Please email marina.shuman@gmail.com to schedule a 10 minute audition slot. Audition will consist
of a 2-3 minute monologue and a brief interview.
This collaborative process will be directed/facilitated
by Marina Moses Shuman. Actors will create as well as perform a site-specific play based on improvisation during rehearsals.
Experience in improvisation is not necessary; however, actors should have skills and/or interest in group communication, collaborative
creation, and theater as play i.e. HAVING FUN.
Performances will be evenings on February 25, 26, 27, March 4,
5, and 6. Rehearsals will begin the week of January 4th, depending on actors' schedules. There is the possibility of a small
stipend/profit-sharing for participants.
